Shipping policy

At Sarah's Gourmet Chocolate Pretzels, we take extra care to ensure your treats arrive in perfect condition. Chocolate can begin to soften above 75°F and melt around 88–90°F, so we ship all orders to arrive within 2 days of shipment using UPS Ground or UPS 2-Day service (whichever is needed for timely delivery).

• Please be home to receive your delivery during the estimated delivery window. 

• If you cannot be home and your local daytime temperature is expected to exceed 75°F, we strongly recommend having the package delivered to your place of business (or another address where someone will be available to receive it promptly). Business addresses often receive earlier deliveries and stay in a cooler environment.

• If the package feels warm, bring it inside right away and allow it to come to room temperature. Store the pretzels in a cool, dark place until you're ready to enjoy them. 

We use insulated packaging and cooling methods designed to keep your gourmet chocolate pretzels fresh during the short transit time. Orders over $99 automatically receive a $20 shipping discount at checkout. 

 

Note: In extreme heat, even with our precautions, there is still a risk if the package sits in direct sunlight or a hot area. Delivering to a business address significantly reduces this risk. We do not advise shipping when temps are over 90°F in your area. 

 

 

Costs: We charge a flat rate of $20 for orders shipped via UPS Ground, and $45 for orders shipped via UPS 2-Day. Remember, orders over $99 automatically receive a $20 shipping discount at checkout.
