Our Story

Some businesses start with a business plan. Ours started with an 11-year-old girl, a family hoping to adopt, and a simple idea: chocolate-covered pretzels.

Back in 2011, our daughter Sarah suggested making and selling pretzels to help bring her future little brother home through adoption. We thought we'd sell a few to friends and family. Instead, we sold out. What began as a one-time fundraiser quickly grew into something much bigger, and today Sarah's Gourmet Pretzels can be found in stores across Pennsylvania and beyond. Through it all, we've never forgotten why we started.

Every pretzel is still hand-dipped in small batches in our Pennsylvania kitchen using our signature blend of premium chocolate and quality ingredients. We believe the little details matter - from generous chocolate coatings to beautiful presentation - because we want every customer to have a treat worth coming back for.

But the sweetest part of our story isn't the chocolate. It's the lives behind every purchase. A portion of every sale helps support organizations that rescue and restore children who have been trafficked, providing safe housing, counseling, education, and hope for a brighter future. We also strive to source our chocolate ethically because we believe the products we create should reflect the values we stand for.
